Petra Diamonds is a leading independent diamond mining group and an increasingly important supplier of rough diamonds to
the international market. The position is based in Cullinan.

**Role Purpose**: Reporting to the Manager: HR Systems and Reporting, the role is responsible to render a Human Resource (HR)
systems administration service to all Operations in the Petra Group including Head Office.

*Responsibilities:

- *
Ensure that all HR reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules.
- Provide the first port of call to users requiring help with respect to relevant systems (VIP and ESS).
- Liaise with consultants for system queries and new development for the successful and timeous implementation of those
changes.
- Responsible to provide refresher training, support and guidance to HR VIP users.
- Responsible to ensure standardisation and maintenance of HR master data and HR systems parameters.
- Responsible for control and management of effective system workflows for ESS across the operations (in cooperation with
consultants where applicable).
- Coordinate and execute mandatory system updates on all operation VIP Systems in cooperation with ICT.
- Assist operations in general system queries and data capturing onto various HR systems.
- Responsible for the development and updating of HR system operating manuals.
- Responsible to maintain accurate master data files from the system for Group reporting purposes.
- Responsible for supporting operations in organisational structure management on the VIP system.
- Responsible to maintain and compile system security access blue print documentation.
- Assist ICT in the compilation of system views for system integrations.
- Assist in the implementation of HR projects by providing accurate data.
- Responsible for Head Office employee HR system administration regarding new appointments, on-boarding and terminations
on the VIP system.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system with the HR systems
Function

*Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in HR Management (NQF L6) or equivalent.***
3 years’ experience in a HR Systems environment.***
Experience in a supervisory role.
- VIP People software.
- Report Writing
- Valid driver’s license.*

*Technical Competencies:

- *
Obtain data from the software system (VIP).
- Liaise with VIP Consultants in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in using MS Excel on an advanced level.
- Make recommendations to improve systems and processes.
- Evaluate systems and processes and identify room for improvement.
- Ensure compliance to documentation and input as determined by relevant standards.
