Payroll & Benefits Manager

**JOB PURPOSE**
The purpose of the Payroll & Benefits Manager is to manage, direct, control and process the company’s payroll function and develop payroll standards and practices that results in good payroll governance, and oversee employee compensation and benefits, compensation databases, and benchmarking.
**JOB OBJECTIVES**
**Payroll operations**
- Responsible for the effective and efficient running of the payroll operations which includes (but not limited to) checking and auditing payrolls and ensuring legislative compliance, submitting employee tax, reporting, payroll reconciliations, preparation and reconciliation of monthly general ledger for salaries journals and resolving escalated pay queries
- Responsible for managing executive payroll
- Responsible for the effective implementation of system upgrades and training HR team on using the system effectively
**Compensation management**
- Design a compensation package based on the company’s remuneration philosophy
- Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture
- Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications
- Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks
- Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys
- Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the filed
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
- Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports
**Payroll Projects**
- Responsible for the effective implementation and execution of Payroll projects within specified timelines and budget

- Payroll manager 3 to 5 years
