Hotel in Gardens, Cape Town is currently looking for an Assistant General Manager.
- Assist the General Manager in the overall responsibility for the effective management on all levels
- Upholding service standards and meet expectations on guest feedback
- Assist in the overall responsibility for creating an environment of learning and development
- Host all guests
- Assist in achieving year on year revenue growth.
- Work with our team to deliver personal and business growth.
- Manage all expenses to ensure we achieve our budgeted profits.
- Overseeing both Rooms and F&B departments (requires a person who understands both areas of the business)
- Capable of making a difference and take this property and your own career to the next level.

**Requirements**:

- Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma qualification
- Must have at least 5 years hospitality experience
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar position
- Must be standards orientated
- Good knowledge of Food and Beverage will be an advantage
- High level of customer service, leadership skills, high level of numeracy skills, disciplined, organized, attention to detail, deadline driven, and cost control skills essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Highly Ethical and Customer Focused
- Can do personality.
- Works well in a team
- Own transport will be an advantage
