Key Account Representative

The **RCL FOODS** Talent Team is currently looking for a passionate **Key Account Representative** with impressive communication, interpersonal & problem-solving abilities to support the B2B National Sales Manager in the maintenance, acquisition, and development of Independent Industrial Manufacturers and Independent Bakeries customers across categories such as Sugar, Milling, Spreads, Creams, Breading and Plant-based raw material.
The role will be based in **Johannesburg** or **Pretoria West **and report directly to the **B2B National Sales Manager**.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Account Management**:
Achieve individual sales targets, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and existing customer maintanance.
Develop and adhere to a regular call cycle to Small, Medium industrial manufacturers and Independent bakeries.
Identify and develop new to RCL business opportunities and increase business with existing cutomers.
Monitor competitor activity and provide insight to the customer marketing department to ensure that they develop effective marketing activity and pricing strategies.
Develop relatioships and work with the Orders, Credit Department, Quality Control and Supply Chain to ensure that customer expectations are met.
**Reporting and Account Finance Management**:
Conduct Monthly business performance reviews with customers.
Use the Fiedko App to provide daily activity and reports.
Provide accurate reporting on customer activity to the National Sales Manager.
Provide accurate forecasting monthly.
Ensure that all claims are processed correctly and on time.
Ensure that the customer has the correct credit limits and assist the debtor’s department with credit and payment related activities.
Adhere to pricing principles and mandates as agreed with the National Sales Manager.
**Minimum Requirements**:
At least 3 years Sales experience in Manufacturing, QSR or FMCG sales.
Proven experience of working in a roles that involves co-ordination of activities across multi disciplinary departments to service customers.
Post matric qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Food Technology is required.
Proficiet in MS office - all packages.
Valid Driver’s license.
Travel outside of the province, at least 3 nights a month.
