Computer and Consumable Sales Consultant

**Responsibilities**:
1. Sales Generation:
- Proactively approach customers and engage in product discussions to identify their needs and recommend suitable computer hardware, software, and consumable products.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by effectively presenting and promoting products to potential customers.
- Provide accurate and detailed product information to customers and address any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Upsell additional products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
2. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the latest computer hardware, software, and consumable products available in the market.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and industry trends to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
- Conduct research on competitive products and pricing to stay competitive and provide customers with the best value.
3. Customer Service:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Provide post-sales assistance, including troubleshooting, product installations, and software configurations.
- Handle customer complaints or product returns professionally and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock of computer hardware, software, and consumable products.
- Conduct regular stock checks, update inventory records, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate department.
5. Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product inventory.
- Generate sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required by management.
- Collaborate with the sales team and provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and potential business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the computer hardware/software or technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and consumable products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their unique needs.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in using sales management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings, as required.
- Physical ability to lift and carry computer equipment, if necessary.
