**The Role**

Position: Human Resource Business Partner
Department: HR

**Job Specification**

**HR Operations**
- Analyses trends and metrics with the HR department such as exit interview trends
- Monitor employee probationary periods including confirmation to all to permanent staff
- Work closely with line management to drive and help facilitate positive employee relations
- Finalising and ensuring that all payroll information is provided timeously for payroll
- Influencing and building relationships with people in the business.
- Providing guidance on people practices such as succession planning.
- Assist with the development and implementation of talent retention strategies
- Assist and Implement HR processes such as EE, Rem and Benefits

Assist with the implement of culture change initiatives/transformation
- Prepare annual salary reviews and analysing data for benchmarking

**Recruitment**
- Consults with line management and provide daily HR guidance, on recruitment i.e., sending out offers, contracts etc,
- Responsible for on-boarding of new hires with Induction and ongoing check ins
- Support all recruitment initiatives including attending career fairs and recruitment check in meetings

**Labour Relations**
- Provide guidance and support on labour relations matters
- Attend the CCMA on behalf of Apex

**Other**
- Support the HR team with projects as required
- Dealing with general day-to-day queries

**Skills Required**:

- Relevant qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience (preferable)
- CCMA experience
- Financial services experience (advantages)
- A confident and personable personality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong self-motivation and drive
- Competent in the use of the Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
