An administrator vacancy exists within the company secretarial department of Mazars Gqeberha. The main purpose of the role is to prepare and maintain company secretarial documentation for clients. The incumbent within this role needs to be detail and task orientated with the ability to stay up to date with any changes within legislation affecting his or her role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Grade 12 / Matric
- Company secretarial course would be advantageous
- At least 5 years’ experience in a company secretarial role within an accounting practice. Ideally this person should not only have experience in company secretarial role only for one corporate company
- but to deal with different types of clients served by an accounting practice.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Experience with company secretarial IT package, Greatsoft, would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of company secretarial work for a variety of clients, including PTY LTD companies, Close Corporations, Trusts and NPCs
- A sound working knowledge in the CIPC platform.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Prepare company secretarial documentation (trusts / companies / CC’s) and present them to clients. These documents include, but are not limited to;
- Changes in trusts
- Change of member interests
- Amendments to articles of association
- Amendments share capital
- Sub-division of shares
- Company formation
- Appointments and resignations of directors
- Allotment of shares
- Buy back of shares
- Conversions
- Deregistration
- Updating company secretarial files
- Preparing debit notes to clients
- Formation of Companies and close corporations
- Updating Greatsoft and CO Register
- Lodging documents manually and electronically to CIPC and the Master’s office
- Processing name changes and financial year-end changes
- Preparing letters to the Registrar, SARS and the Master’s Office
- Lodging STT payable to SARS, such as:

- Prepare letters to clients requesting payment
- Monitor payments received through Admin
- Lodge STT
- Provide efficient service delivery to clients and partners with regards to company secretarial work
