Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. The Duty Manager will primarily oversee the Front Desk operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hotel during. This key position plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of guest service and hotel security while supporting the daily operations of the hotel. The Duty Manager will be expected to act as the Night Auditor 6 shifts during the month and while the Night Auditor is on leave.

**Responsibilities**:
**Night Audit Duties**:

- ** Financial Accountability**: Conduct end-of-day accounting and ensure the accurate and timely closure of daily financial transactions, including posting room charges, reconciling cash and credit card transactions, and preparing daily financial reports.
- ** Guest Services**: Greet and assist late-check-in guests, handle guest inquiries and requests during the night, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- ** Security and Safety**: Monitor the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. Respond to and handle emergency situations as needed.
- ** Data Entry and Reporting**: Maintain and update the property management system with accurate guest information, room status, and billing details. Generate and distribute various daily and management reports.
- ** Audit Reconciliation**: Verify the accuracy of all revenue and daily transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and report any irregularities or concerns to management.
- ** Inventory Management**: Assist in managing and controlling inventory, including room availability, key control, and any special requests or room moves during the night.

**Duty Manager Responsibilities**:

- ** Front Desk Support**: Assist the front desk with check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries as needed during the night.
- ** Team Supervision**: Provide leadership and supervision to the night audit team, ensuring they perform their tasks efficiently and adhere to company policies and standards.
- ** Conflict Resolution**: Resolve guest complaints or issues that arise during the night shift and escalate complex matters to senior management when necessary.
- ** Training**: Train and mentor night audit staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about hotel operations and possess exceptional customer service skills.
- ** Quality Assurance**: Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure that the hotel is clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, accounting, and property management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and security

Shift Hours:
7am to 3pm

2pm to 10pm

10pm to 7am
