**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:

- Provides a full administrative and secretarial support to staff within the Cosec team using appropriate processes within set timescales and to a high standard of accuracy and presentation.
- Manages diaries and electronic schedules, arranging appointments and prioritizing competing needs.
- Maintains a comprehensive filing system both hard copy and electronically.
- Arranges events, books appropriate venues and hospitality and undertake associated administrative tasks.
- Be accountable for Boardpad and uploading of Aall board, committee and management meetings timeously.
- Understand and sometimes implement the dept budget including following procedures to raise invoices and follow up on payments.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate databases and staff records, for the team, including annual leave and sick leave records.
- Organises meetings and prepares agendas and papers for Departmental meetings
- Undertakes any other duties at the request of a manager which are commensurate with this role
- Works as a member of the team in a supportive, co-operative manner, sharing information and liaising with colleagues to provide support and cover when required.
- Ability to prioritise enquiries (both written and verbal) on behalf of senior team members
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the success of the team
- Attention to detail and able to see tasks through to completion
- A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, VISIO and other relevant software and the ability to produce documents to a high standard of presentation
- Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure
