**Job Description**:
Watershed Consulting is seeking an experienced HR practitioner for our client with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join their HR department.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

**Job Title**: Human Resource Practitioner

**Location**: Middelburg Mpumalanga

**Package**:R760 000 CTC PA to R880 000 CTC PA

**REQUIREMENTS**

The incumbent will be responsible for the total HR function within a particular business unit or departments.

Providing proactive HR service to the respective business unit relating to recruitment, industrial relations, training (soft skills), employee benefits, policies, organisational structures, performance management, employee assistance and HR related administration.

The incumbent must also ensure that the business unit adheres to the relevant HR policies and procedures.

From time to time the incumbent will take on HR related projects and may be required to do HR related research as the need arises.

The incumbent will in most times function independently without direct supervision.

The incumbent will deal with shop floor shop stewards.

The incumbent will be responsible to actively resolve shop floor grievances.

The incumbent may from time to time be required to provide HR related training to employees and managers.

The incumbent will be required to provide HR related reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a generalist HR role (Manufacturing/mining environment)

8 Years managing trade unions.

Relevant Legislation - Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Employment Equity Act.

Knowledge of handling or managing trade unions or factory shop stewards matters at the floor level.

Must be able to work with and communicate with all levels of employees up to senior and executive level.

Must be computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint accompanied by excellent administration skills.

Must have excellent communication skills and in particular excellent English speaking, reading, and writing skills with good conflict handling skills.

Be a self-starter, disciplined and tenacious and can work independently and have sound judgement and decision-making skills.

Must Attention to detail and posse a high level of energy and a high stress tolerance level.

A clear sense of urgency and proactive with the ability to deal with several issues at the same time.
