**Job Purpose**:
To develop and implement dealer sourcing & transformation strategies to ensure the acquisition of the right level (BBBEE and business experience) of dealer is identified in the market with the appropriate funding requirements and lead the operational and strategic practices across Engen Retail service station network, so as to improve effectiveness of dealer recruitment and transformation, whilst contributing positively to the business development and Retail profitability.

**What You Have Done Before**:

- 8 years recruitment and talent sourcing experience (within Retail/ Franchise environment).
- NQF Level 7 (Degree in Industrial Psychology/ Business/ HR/ Sales or related)
- 3 years experience managing teams/ leading recruitment
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and talent mapping
- Experience in dealer recruitment in franchise context
- Deep knowledge of recruitment principles with in-depth understanding of dealer sourcing.
- Entrepreneurial - ability to initiate and co-create innovative and viable business plans.
- Proven ability to co-ordinate and delivering strategic plans.
- Proven sourcing and stakeholder management experience and knowledge.
- Strong negotiation and financial management skills.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- DEALER ACQUISITION:
- Manage delivery on full life cycle dealer recruitment needs, ensuring a professional resourcing process that is fair, consistent and in line with the dealer recruitment and selection policies, processes and relevant labour legislation to meet business needs within the agreed SLA.
- Provide regular intelligence to the Sales & Operations team in terms of process within the acquisition process
- Proactively review, adjust sourcing channels to strategically advise business on most appropriate sourcing strategy for key sites

- SOURCING STRATEGY:
- Define and execute strategic sourcing strategies to proactively identify and source dealers for strategic sites through development of specialized or competitive intelligence and research regarding dealer acquisition.
- Produce sourcing maps providing Sales & Operations managers with market intelligence including the availability of dealers
- Actively promote Engen brand through continuously supplying the business with leading practice methodologies to ensure a pool of the right dealers to drive business success and continuity.
- ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT:
- Manage assessment budget and assessment practice through facilitation of the psychometric assessment process for Engen in collaboration with selected providers to develop fit for purpose assessment batteries, norms, and success profiles.
- Ensure the assessment of potential dealers and reporting on results, themes, and developmental requirements to relevant Sales & Operations managers

CONTINUOS IMPROVEMENT:

- Ensure reporting and continuously improve the Sales & Operations team key performance metrics including but not limited to both short term
- DEALER TRANSFORMATION:
- Build and strengthen relationships within the dealer network assisting and drive the dealer transformation to influence and impact on Engen’s BBBEE strategies
- Ensure adherence towards people transformation agenda through ensuring that shortlisting is in accordance with the Engen BBBEE Transformation Plan
- Define, launch, monitor and support onboarding efforts quickly diagnosing and remedying pain points with Sales & Operations
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
- Evaluate opportunities and define potential risks or constraints and propose best options in the interest of the Retail and keep abreast of the latest trends and identify ways to add value
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to identify business development opportunities, ensuring all potential risks are proactively mitigated
- Provide financial and operational support to newly appointed dealers focusing on NTIs’ (New To Industry) appointees
- Accountable for management of new dealer appointee mentoring programme - nominate mentors within the network
- STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:
- Establish partnership and manage dealer management to ensure compliance and governance, including setting up and overseeing appropriate governance structure
- Conduct stakeholder performance reviews, including Engen key stakeholders to ensure Engen controls are executed in line with agreed requirements to improve on future strategies
- Manage SLA
