**Responsibilities**:

- Owns and drives high quality talent management and succession planning processes and practices in the SSA BU - with the envisaged expansion into Africa this individual will form a key advisor to leadership on the health and availability of talent (Accountable)
- Will work closely with HR and Business to build capability to manage and develop talent in line with PepsiCo practices (Accountable)
- Closely monitors adherence to PPP and Talent review actions and ensures that deviations are flagged thereby actively managing growth and development within each identified talent cohort (Accountable)
- Custodian of talent reviews (x3 per annum) and ensuring these are done from bottom up with the required rigor and ownership from HR&Business (Accountable)
- Custodian of MYP&D - works with HRBPs and Business to ensure all data is accurate and system is fully utilised (Accountable)
- Talent Data custodian to ensure accuracy of all talent data across the BU (Accountable)
- Responsible for constant reporting and analytics on talent and succession data to drive active talent management (Accountable)
- Custodian of LeAD/360/Pepl/Hogan/Development Check-ins to ensure that participants are provided with feedback and have the necessary development plans in plans (Accountable)
- Custodian of SWP: ensure data readiness for SWP. Monitor talent actions emerging from SWP. Actively position outcomes of SWP to all leaders across the BU for the development of the required plans (Accountable)

Qualifications:

- 3 year B Degree with Honours (Masters in Industrial Psychology preferred)
- 3+ years experience Talent Management (management of talent pools/cohorts, assessments and succession planning)
- Experience working with senior business and HR leaders in talent management, workforce planning and succession planning
- Accredited in the use of psychometric assessments (preferred)
- Highly analytic - ability to analyse complex talent data and processes and draw key insights
- Attention to detail - ability to scrutinize data and plans and identify risks/gaps
- Influencing skills: to be able to create buy-in and support for talent management processes and practices and to influence progress against agreed plans
- Creative skills to design fit for purpose solutions
- Strong delivery bias - ability to deliver high quality outputs
- Proficiency in working with various talent management and succession planning methodologies and models
- Emotional and professional maturity as well as professional judgement and discretion in working with highly sensitive and confidential talent and psychometric data. This is likely to include peer, manager and director level data
