Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an External Sales Rep that is familiar with selling in the construction sector or a similar technical environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Service the customer base effectively and build strong relationships
- Prospect for new customers
- Have good product knowledge
- Effective marketing of new and existing products
- Effective lead management
- Familiarity with market and market trends
- Proper administration of CRM
- Adherence to sales policies and procedures
- Timeous and effective response to customer complaints
- Contribution to the team effort
- Reporting

**Requirements**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Professional communication and listening skills
- Technical sales skills and experience
- Dealing with different personalities
- Time and territory management
- Computer literate - MS Office, CRM
- At least 5 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
- Stable track record
- Confident, articulate and presentable
- Honest and of high energy
