Key responsibilities will include:
**Strategic**
- Participating in setting direction for the service line, financial and administrative decision-taking
- Understand sub-service line ( corporate tax consulting) strategy and how it relates to own KPI’s for self and team
- To participate in the continuous refinement of the Operating Model and High-Performance Model Recognizing the importance of tax technology and driving this as a key enabler
- Understanding the chosen strategic market and building new frameworks and processes

**Growth**
- Contributing towards Value Proposition Development and ‘’Go-To-Market’’ strategies for the service line.
- Participate in the execution of the go to market strategy for the transaction tax sub-unit
- Participate in the implementation the go to strategy for tax service live growth in the provinces and in the SADEC region.

**Practice management and people management will also form part of the role.**
- Honours degree in Tax/International Trade/Economics (BCom Honours or Law degree or equivalent); Master’s degree is advantageous
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as in a client
- facing role in a consulting firm, law firm or tax authority. with exposure in customs and excise,
- Experience in a professional services firm is advantageous,
- Technologically proficient i.e. tax technology and including business development, presentation and influencing skills
