Regional Operations Manager

This role is responsible for the Operational management across the region to achieve the regional objectives and strategic goals of JDJ Diagnostics. To plan, organize, lead, and control regional operations toward delivering professional, high-quality, and secure medical pathology services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Translates the strategic and regional organisation’s objectives into operational activities.
- Manages the daily operations for the organisation across the various functions, such as Logistics & Transport, Pre-Analytical, Client Services, Laboratory, HR, HSE, and Nursing to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Project manages the timeous commissioning of new laboratories and depots in accordance to standards.
- Provides regional budget and manages budget vs spending accordingly.
- Manages and reports on expenses, asset management, and adherence to service level agreements by service providers.
- Ensure compliance to quality standards, ISO 9000, 15189, and lean processes are implemented in accordance with the principles of good laboratory practice, SANAS accreditation requirements, quality assurance including quality control, health and safety, standard operating procedures, and turnaround time targets.
- Contributes to the evaluation and validation of new tools and procedures to ensure uniformity and ongoing technological process improvements.
- Oversee the region's human resources activities, such as hiring, performance management, retaining talent, engaging employees, training, and career development.
- Communicates with clients to handle service-related issues, and deal with non-conformance to uphold the organisation's reputation.
- Works with the National support team to align processes within agreed standards.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Registration in relevant discipline with HPCSA.
- Minimum Diploma in Medical Technology or Healthcare.
- Business Management / Administration qualification advantageous.

**Experience**

10+ Years of relevant Senior / Management Experience in Pathology.
