An opportunity exists for an exceptional **Senior HR Generalist **to join the school from **March 2023.**

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 3 years experience as an HR Officer or HR Generalist
- 2 or more years experience as a Senior HR Generalist or HR Consultant
- Experience in the NGO / Education / Social Sector is an advantage
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Working knowledge and expertise of multiple HR disciplines, including organizational design, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance and talent management
- A willingness to support and mentor and to be mentored
- The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications, and policies
- A willingness to work as part of a team

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**D**uties (not an exhaustive list)**:

- Co-ordinate a first-class recruitment process from vacancy to placement
- Implement relevant Talent Management Frameworks
- Support processes and initiatives to achieve Employment Equity and Transformation
- Ensure sufficient development opportunities are made available to staff
- Advise / guide staff in personal and career development
- Co-ordinate salary benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Oversee the process of ensuring data integrity of HR system
- Communicate and create staff wellness initiatives
- Provide first line resolution to ER related matters/issues
