Girls Clarinet and Saxophone Teacher

An opportunity exists for an exceptional **Part-time Clarinet and Saxophone Teacher** to join the school **on 1 January 2023**.**

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant diploma/degree
- 3 years experience in teaching group and individual lesson
- Have experience working with the ABRSM and Trinity Syllabus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate excellent musicianship and artistry as a teacher/performer
- Experience teaching children basic instrumental development
- Strong knowledge of the ABRSM and Trinity College London curricula
- Self-motivated, organised and energetic
- Prepared to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications, and policies
- Police clearance certificate

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ability to teach clarinet group classes and individual saxophone and clarinet lessons
- Plan and teach interesting and engaging Clarinet and Saxophone lessons
- Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
- Monitor children's progress in Clarinet and Saxophone
- Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy
