- Matric, relevant qualification in public relations, communications, or hospitality highly advantageous
- 5 10 years proven experience
- Excellent financial acumen for budgeting
- Communication and marketing skills.
- Project management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Computer literate intermediate skills in excel
- Highly organised, meticulous in organising finer details
- Ability to work under pressure

- Multiskilled individual with excellent multi-tasking skills

**DUTIES**
- Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
- Planning and execution of event tasks for events and provide timeline
- Serve as the link between all suppliers to ensure smooth operations
- Come up with new ideas and technical innovations that improve sales and the overall look & feel of the event venues
- Develop general event management procedures if required, also ensuring that all team members are adhering to the current procedures
- Confirming Health & safety officer for the internal events and setting schedules for their services
- Sourcing and confirming preferred suppliers for events
- Supervision of all operational production processes
- Procurement of items for the events and negotiate discounted rates with key suppliers to improve campaign margins, and teach this discipline to the events team
- Ensure clients and sponsor management is effective and at its best, including time effectiveness
- Ensure all event documents and paperwork are accurate and in place, including event running order, delivery schedules, staff briefing sheets
- Assist Marketing team with ensuring that both the event and its Sponsors, Partners, etc get the most effective branding opportunities
- Contributing towards supplier SLAs
- Handling budgeting and financial excel spreadsheets
- Manage staff
- Developing event feedback surveys
- Handling post-event reports
