Senior Communications Manager

**Job Advert Summary**:
Reporting to the Executive: Brand, Marketing and Communication, the Senior Manager Communication will be required to contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategies that improve the brand image and appeal of PPS to Members in relation to all communication elements. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication and public relations strategy for PPS taking account the business strategy, goals, key stakeholders and the operating environment. The communication strategy must deal with both internal and external audiences and ensure alignment of key messages across the business and be in keeping with the PPS brand. The incumbent will be responsible for effectively leading a team in the design, creation, implementation and evaluation of communications programs, including messaging, digital marketing, media planning and collateral creation and oversight over communications emanating from other parts of the business, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with the brand.
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary or NQF 6 qualification in Marketing / Public Relations / Communications or related field
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification (marketing) (preferred)
**Experience**:
- 5-10 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications or Brand Management
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a management role within marketing
- Proven track record in establishment of a new networks and collaborative relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing management principles and practices
- Knowledge and experience in financial services environment would be advantageous
