**About the Job**

**Overview**

The purpose of the role is dealing with incoming service requests, coordination and implementation of new business opportunities, aligned with the strategic goals of Glucode. The role will focus on managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.

**Responsibilities**

**Prospecting**:

- Develops and implements the overarching business development strategy, sales processes, structures, and best practices across the Company.
- Identifies potential customers or businesses that will benefit Glucode’s products or services. This may involve researching, attending networking events, or using marketing-generated leads.
- Identifies trends and client needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with business needs
- Meets regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.

**Receiving inquiries**:
**Qualifying leads**:

- Generates new leads, identifies and contacts decision-makers, screens potential business opportunities, selects the opportunities in line with the strategy, and leads and facilitates the pitch.
- Schedule meetings with relevant customers.

**Presenting Information**:

- Provide information about the products or services, including features, benefits, pricing, and other relevant details that can help the prospect make an informed decision.
- Develop proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed request for proposal requirements, content creation, and input from various sources.
- Answer questions, address objections, and alleviate any concerns that the prospect may have about the company's offerings.
- Gather all information needed to gather context and estimate quotes.
- Drive the estimation process with the assigned developer and /or designer.

**Building relationships**:

- Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, aiming to understand their needs and preferences, and building trust and rapport.

**Closing deals**:

- Negotiate terms, finalise agreements, and ensure that the prospect is successfully converted into a customers.
- Get input form Leadership, Finance and Service Delivery in case of negotiations/ change request between Glucode and Customer.
- Contracts to be drafted and reviewed with relevant internal parties.
- Send contract to customer for review.

**Coordinating with other teams**:

- Work closely with the Service Delivery Department and other departments, such Design, Engineering, to ensure a smooth transition and positive experience for the new customers.

**Tracking and documentation**:

- Maintain records of prospect interactions, document sales activities, and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with relevant information.

**Continuous improvement**:

- Contributes to the improvement of the sales process by identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities based on their interactions with prospects.
- Maintains and shares professional knowledge through networking, events, education and presentations.

**Core** Education and Experience**
- Matric.
- Diploma in relevant field would be advantageous.
- 5 + years Sales experience in relevant industry.
- Experience in using mobile technologies would be advantageous.
