**Admin Officer 3 - Cape Town**

The TES employee will be responsible for the following function/ work:
1. Evaluating the OPM Department's performance against budget and addressing deviations/ variances within the OPM department.

2. Providing a financial support service for staffing related reports and contingencies involving the OPM Department's staff and their professional activities.

3. Ensure compliance to legislation, policies and procedures and creating sustainable Integrated systems to Improv service delivery. Manages the implementation of systems and procedures associated with general administration.

4. Supporting the management of the OPM Department's Archives, Registry and Records.

5. Project Administration. To successfully support and assist the management of the delivery of approved products across the project life cycle of the OPM department within th Director's office.

6. Facilitate and coordinate the development of Workplace Skills Plan and Training Programme of the OPM Department. Including monitoring and reporting on the Implementation thereof on a continuous basis.

7. Updating personnel records and register (Leave / Sick Leave)

including Training attendance register.

8. Performs specific activities associated with providing support to line functions e.g Checking leave, sick leave, time and attendance records, attending to and resolving queries. Provide support relating to Recruitment and Selection process.

**Qualification**: National Diploma in Administration

Project Management

**Other Skills/ requirements**:
1. Ability to work with staff within the department in ensuring the proper implementation of the WSP.

2. Basic Financial Management skills.

3. Office Management and Administrative Skills.

4. Computer Literacy (MS Office & SAP essential)
