**Main purpose of the job** :To provide district coordination and leadership of Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC), Family Strengthening Program (FSP) implementation services, ensuring standards and quality of those services. Lead the implementation of OVC CCM and DREAMS Let’s Talk interventions, implemented under OVC FSP. Creating a seamless bi directional referral system between DOH/ Health facility operations, DREAMS partners, social services, community support services within the district and other relevant identified stakeholders. Communicate daily with field OVC FS team to ensure they are all meeting daily set targets for OVC CCM and DREAMS.

**Key performance areas** **P**rovide program administration, and overall programmatic technical support through, program planning, monitoring, and reporting. Manage and coordinate project activities and outputs as per guide by MatCH and sponsor/ funder (USAID) in line with Treatment and care of OVC CCM program requirements and DREAMS interventions. Ensure clinical goals of the program are successfully implemented within the district. Be the direct link to DOH (Health Facilities) and district partners including DREAMS Partners. Establish and maintain good working relationships with facility-based care and treatment teams to ensure seamless beneficiary support on efficient continuum of care. Support implementation and monitor reporting of the 95-95-95 cascade, including known HIV status, linkage and retention in treatment, viral loads for all beneficiaries and negotiating establishment of youth adherence clubs (V3) in all supported facilities and the communities to enhance retention in care. Liaise with the Clinical Linkage Officer to support implementation and reporting of 95-95-95 cascade. Ensuring reporting of OVC_HIVSTAT Champion the validation of CLHIV’s within the district.Attend District meetings: DOH and stakeholders meetings including DAC/ LAC meetings. Strengthening the multidisciplinary linkage and coordination with DOH, DSD, DREAMS Partners and other stakeholders Support Social worker/ GBV champion in case identification, case management and linkage to child and social services. Ensure provision of a differentiated package of services to the CLHIV through field teams (CCW’s and DREAMS Facilitators) Ensure the district field teams are capacitated to perform their duties. Provide daily, weekly and quarterly reports on teams’ activities, outputs and challenges. Facilitate spot checks at campaigns, periodic household visits, and group sessions to ensure quality is being maintained. Ensure teams are working efficiently and effectively daily towards attaining set targets. Ensure the field teams are capacitated to perform their duties through their supervisors. Provide ongoing training and support to all new and existing OVC FS implementing field staff (CCM and DREAMS team). Report on staff inefficiencies and non-productive team. Support the District programme managers to implement agile quality improvement activities and plans in response to changing project needs through continuous monitoring and oversight of annual work and performance plans. Network to form strategic relationships with local stakeholders including the DOH, DSD and other collaborating partners. Work with District M&E Officer to prepare reports for dissemination within MatCH and to external stakeholders/ partners. Work closely with the M&E team to support local ongoing data management, data collection, storage and analysis relevant to portfolio.

**Required minimum education, training, and technical support** Relevant Degree/Diploma qualification in Social Sciences/ Health. Unendorsed driving license is required.

**Professional body registration** Registration with relevant South African statutory body: - HPCSA/ SACSSP (if applicable). Health indemnity insurance cover (if applicable).

**Minimum work experience** At least (4) years of experience of working in the areas of HIV and TB, public health, and community programs. Good knowledge of comprehensive HIV treatment and care. At least four (4) experience in working on implementing multi-faceted health programs, with preference to 3 years of experience working in international donor funded projects in a programmatic capacity.

**Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities** Clinical background - Nursing/degree is recommended. Working knowledge in Good Clinical Practices Advanced knowledge of HIV, TB and DREAMS and differentiated care programs (district, facility and community levels) and activities/requirements related thereto.
