POSITION: Risk Compliance Officer
DEPARTMENT: Operations
PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONTo successfully identify and address operational risks within all areas of the business which includes warehouse and factory. To oversee the stock control process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Risk Compliance in place
- Checklist in place
- Business process in place
- Process of receiving and despatching of stock in place
- Address & report on non compliance
- OHASA
- Analyse and report on risk indicators
- Compile stock loss review reports
- Risk & Admin Auditing - Audit the general risk, admin (warehouse) & Health and safety
- Oversee risk investigations
- Conduct investigations into risk related misconduct
- Risk improvement plan
- Identify coaching, training and development needs of staff who deal with stock process and procedures and report to relevant senior leaders
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures and processes and make appropriate recommendations to management for implementation
- Initiate stock loss process / improvement plan when stock loss is above the norm
- Formulate action plans where risk is identified
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (with accounting)
- Relevant business management tertiary qualification is advantageous
- 3-5 years experience in risk/stock management
- Relevant experience in a retail operations and/or manufacturing environment
- Exceptional report writing skills
- Computer Literacy: G-Suite / MS Office Intermediate Level
- Competencies required**: Analytical, Problem Assessment, Planning, organising and control. coaching, decisiveness, Business acumen, coaching and training
