My name is Nuno Neto and I am the COO at Seth Media - a fast-growing e-commerce drop shipping company based out of Norway specializing in small consumer goods and lifestyle products that combine innovation, function, and style.

We are looking to hire a motivated, experienced Ecommerce Operations Manager who can oversee and manage the entire drop shipping process from China, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain, robust supplier relationships, and effective product management.

This role requires a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape, particularly in dropshipping, and the unique challenges and opportunities presented by sourcing products from China.

This is a full-time remote position.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Ecommerce Operations Manager specifically with these requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in ecommerce operations, with a focus on dropshipping.
  • Has at least 3+ experience with Supply chain and dropshipping.
  • Proven experience in managing endtoend supply chains and sourcing products from China.
  • Skilled at vendor/supplier onboarding and management
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in ecommerce platforms and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supply Chain Management:
  • Oversee the endtoend dropshipping process, ensuring timely and costeffective
- delivery of products to customers.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas of improvement and
- implement strategies to optimize operations.

  • Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient and reliable shipping routes.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in China.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best quality and cost.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve any supplierrelated issues or disputes.
  • Product Management:
  • Oversee the selection, sourcing, and listing of products on the ecommerce platform.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote selected products and drive sales.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and make datadriven decisions to optimize the product portfolio.
  • Ensure product listings are accurate, uptodate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to address and rectify any product quality issues.
  • Monitor customer feedback and returns to identify potential product issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven environment within the operations team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics and set goals.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Stay updated with industry trends, challenges, and best practices in dropshipping and ecommerce.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and initiatives to grow the business.
  • Identify and explore new opportunities for expansion or diversification.
