As an IT Technician you will provide technical support across the business. Coordinating with external IT providers, maintain IT assets, and support IT projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Desktop, Printer & Server Support: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for desktops, laptops and other computer devices. Set up Users, Computers/laptops and provide users with onsite/remote support across the business. Maintain and troubleshoot Servers, Computer equipment, Printers, mobile devices, etc.
- Network Support: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical network support Maintain and troubleshoot network-related issues across the business.
- Security: experience with network, systems and data security.
- IT Coordination: Coordinate with external IT providers and consultants. Handle queries, fault logging, and ensure effective turnaround times.
- Collaboration: Liaise and work closely with Global IT and ITSM teams on various tasks.
- IT Asset Control: Assist in maintaining IT asset registers.
- Administrative Tasks: Source competitive quotes for IT-related solutions and products. Manage inventory control of existing IT accessories and consumables. Assist IT Management with various reports, policies and procedures when required.
- Cloud Technologies: Exposure to cloud technologies, especially MS Azure, is highly desirable.
- LAN and Wireless Technologies: Working knowledge of LAN and Wireless technologies. Exposure to CISCO, Cisco Meraki, or similar is highly desirable.
- Project Support: Support the IT Manager on all IT-related projects and other tasks.
- System Performance: Ensure all IT systems and resources are performing optimally 24/7.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications: A+, N+, or NQF Level 6 IT Qualifications or similar
- Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in IT Technical Support.
- FMCG Manufacturing experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Experience in network and server management.
- Exposure to information security.
- Good Verbal and Written communication.
- Good command of English.
- Strong People skills
- Having willingness to be part of global work teams in working with IT infrastructure, Applications and projects.
- Demonstrate ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, drive results independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Willingness to constantly learn and grow.
- Willingness to work extra hours or on weekends occasionally, when required.
- Some travel required to other sites, where necessary.
