**Job Summary**
- The major goal is to meet or exceed client expectations, promote the company and provide medical laboratory services to various clients. Clients include internal staff and external customers.
- Internal staff such as couriers, Administrative, Laboratory, Nursing, management staff and pathologists.
- External customers include providers such as hospitals, doctors, unit managers, nursing and other stake holders.
- Included in the portfolio of external clients are Insurance industries, Occupational Health, Clinical trials and other care providers that fall within the ambit of the medical profession.
- Have effective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, diversity and versatility in everyday encounters.
- Provide effective reporting methodologies and handle daily volumes of incoming complaints from various clients.

**Minimum Criteria**

Grade 12.

**Experience**

1 to 2 years in a laboratory environment would be preferred.

- Computer literate. Laboratory information systems knowledge.

**Key Functions**
- Timekeeping. Answering of telephones, scanning and all forms of media interaction.
- Quality control. Direct involvement with Quality indicators and annual audits.
- Customer Liaison and colleague orientation. Telephonic results and patient confidentiality.
- Complaints and the following up to completion with clients, Pathologists, referring Doctors, Nurses, regulatory bodies and all other stake holders.
- Co-ordinate functions and meetings in line with the needs and goals of the Company.
- Maintain proper records of all interventions. Optimize systems design by analysis and input.
- Provide functional support in the departments, including training of staff and facilitation.
- Perform general administrative duties as required by your manager.
- To carry out any reasonable instruction from superiors.
- Adherence to all Department working instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Partake in periodic evaluations, appraisals and continued development programs.
- Application and usage of LIS. Report printing, distribution and document control.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures as per the SHE officer and duly elected representatives.
- Maintain a professional image that reflects the standards associated with JDJ’s mission statement and vision.
- Available and able to undertake unusual working hours and conditions of the post.
- Collate data for trend analysis and corrective action.
- Perform Send Away (Shipping) function.

**Salary**

Will negotiate based on experience and qualification. This is an entry level post.
