- We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Team Lead to take charge of overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues, and providing leadership to the company's service desk team. This role involves guiding the team, collaborating with IT departments, and maintaining top-notch customer satisfaction.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership:

- Guide and mentor service desk team members, offering training and performance feedback.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative team culture, leading by example.
- Assign tasks based on team members' skills and allocate responsibilities.
- Monitor and manage team performance metrics, ensuring SLAs and targets are met.
- Technical Issue Management:

- Address escalated technical issues, providing expert guidance for complex problems.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to enhance communication and troubleshooting.
- Customer Support:

- Interact with end-users, grasp their technical concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring resolutions meet satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for service quality improvements.
- Process Enhancement:

- Continuously evaluate and enhance service desk processes, procedures, and workflows.
- Recognize bottlenecks, automation potential, and streamline operations.
- Implement best practices to optimize incident management and request fulfillment.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain precise records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Generate regular reports on service desk performance, highlighting trends and areas for progress.
- Analyze data for patterns and execute strategies to prevent recurring issues.
- Training and Development:

- Provide ongoing training, ensuring team members possess essential technical and soft skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and IT service management best practices.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Interaction:

- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance service delivery and issue resolution.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including department heads and management.
- Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in technical support or service desk roles, with progressive responsibilities.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- At least 2 years of Team Lead Experience
- In-depth knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow and ITSM tools.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies.
- Experience with process improvement and change management initiatives.
