Facilities Senior Supervisor

**Job purpose**:
The purpose of the Facilities Senior Supervisor is to coordinate and manage the site facilities and equipment maintenance schedules. Proactive and reactive maintenance scheduling and interventions to minimize downtime is essential for the success of this role.

**Job functions and objectives**:
**Compile Planned Maintenance Database**:

- Establish and maintain database of all fixed installations.

**Schedule and issue planned Maintenance Instructions**:

- Schedule preventative maintenance.
- Issue planned maintenance instructions.
- Coordinate and manage building and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Test building security systems and prepare for emergencies by creating action plans.
- Communicate daily with supply vendors and update supplier database regularly.
- Responsible for responding to urgent and or adhoc maintenance calls, queries and or requests.

**Monthly Compliance**:

- Compile monthly reports on schedule compliance/failures.

**Third Party Management**:

- Responsible for managing the external/ third party facilities suppliers ensure that service is provided aligned to the service level agreement (SLA) with Barron.

- NQF 6 - Facilities Management - Essential

**Experience**:

- Facilities Senior Supervisor - 10-15 years - Essential
