Machine Shop Supervisor job vacancy in Edenvale.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead our client’s machining team.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Machine Shop Supervisor or similar role.
- Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating a variety of CNC machines.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Experience in ordering tools and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise machine shop personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Set up, program, and operate machines as needed to meet production demands.
- Order and maintain inventory of tools and materials required for machining operations.
- Assist in planning and scheduling production to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Oversee the inspection and quality control processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve production efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and other departments to address production challenges and improve processes.
- Train and mentor machine shop employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
