**Job Context**:
Servest (Pty) Ltd, a Leading Facilities Management Company has a challenging opportunity for an IR Officer r reporting to the Human Resources Director be based at their Head Office in Midrand Waterfall. The position is for their Corporate Division.

**Minimum Requirements**:
South African citizen

Grade 12 certificate;
Clear criminal record;
Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations or Labour Law;
Must reside in the greater Durban region;
Minimum 2 years related experience;
Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
Knowledge of relevant labour legislation (BCEA & LRA);
Sound knowledge of HR best practices;
Strong communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills;
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with employees and management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Provide overall administrative assistant to the Human Resources Manager;
Assist in administering the disciplinary request process through SEESA;
Escalate employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts to the relevant line managers of the various business units;
Provide advice and guidance to employees and management on employee relations matters, policies, and procedures

Assist in ensuring wage recruitment processes with the relevant line managers of the various business units;
Assist in onboarding and off boarding off colleagues (terminations);
Assist line managers to attend s189 consultations;
Perform general administrative duties for the HR Office which may include filing;

**Employee Relations**

Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace-related concerns, complaints, and grievances;
Assist in investigating and resolving employee disputes and conflicts;
Collaborate with the HR Manager and line managers of the various business units to address employee relations issues in a timely and fair manner;
