**Project Manager**

**Job Purpose**:

- Using the DePICT® Methodology, the Project Manager will:

- Deliver the project on time, on budget, within scope and agreed quality standards.
- Coordinate across multiple functional lines and work streams;
- Understand project scope as outlined in the Project Charter, identify, document, recommend and manage scope change requests/implementation;
- Lead the project team in planning project deliverables and execution using the available tools and templates;
- Manage changing scope and project acceptance criteria, control resources, revenue and capital costs against project budgets
- Establish quality reviews and reporting structures inside the project team and review performance of project team members
- Report project status to stakeholders;
- Obtain feedback from all stakeholders at critical milestones to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations
- Monitor that the quality and content of all project deliverables reflect the agreed target;
- Establish working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Manage and report costs
- Ensure that the project meets all commercial and financial targets described in the Business Case and immediately escalate in case any of these targets would be in risk.
- Close engagement with customers in business development, solutions design, and follow-up phases to strengthen the sales and delivery of new solutions

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Manage the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and project delivery

- Manage the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements
- Drive the resolution of conflicts and issues
- Challenge scope changes to ensure benefit realisation
- Own the budget of the project and performance against the business case to ensure benefit realisation
- Engagement with the customer already in the business development phase to support the sales process and establish early in the cooperation the atmosphere of trust.
- Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to forecast project resources and SME's required to support sales efforts and deliver the business benefits
- Support the development of the project management community and implement the people management strategy to deliver business benefits through: skills assessment, training programmes, processes and toolsets

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric
- University degree
- 5+ years experience in logistics (desirable)
- Warehouse and transport operational experience (essential)
- DePICT project management methodology (essential)
- ACT change management methodology (essential)
- DMAIC process improvement methodology (desirable)
- 5+ years experience in project and programme management roles (essential)
- Ability to lead and manage a cross country, multicultural team (essential)
- Professional project management certification e.g. IPMA Level C (Level B if required), PMI PgMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes, Management of Portfolios (desirable)
