Technical Key Account Manager

Our client are looking to hire an experienced key account manager to maintain solid relationships with the company's key clients. The key account manager's responsibilities include growing the company's revenue by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided, identifying new business opportunities for key clients, and attending all meetings, conventions and training workshops. You should also be able to develop relationships with potential clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Help and assist customers with making of product, training, provide guidance and problem solving (factories and butcheries)
- Create new product lines and grow business / GP of the business
- Plan on building market share across all categories
- Drive and achieve, volumes and budgets across all categories
- Build solid long standing client relationships
- Absolute focus on customer and service
- Develop new relationships through field visits
- Develop agreements for factory accounts
- Implementing suggested savings and tracking the value of the saving
- Cost control, waste elimination, production flows and effective process controls
- Driving Capex projects and managing Budgets
- NPD - developing and pitching new products to our customers

**Qualifications**:
- Bsc Food Science or any other food related qualification
- MBA - advantageous
- 5 -10 years’ experience in sales within a food manufacturing environment /FMCG
- 5 - 10 years Commercial experience
- 5 - 10 years Butchery Operations knowledge/experience
- Butchery equipment knowledge/experience - advantageous
- 5 - 10 years Meat processing experience
- Experience in managing key account customers
