The Key Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.

Availability - Immediate
Education and experience requirements
- Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
- A relevant tertiary qualification / Diploma /other
- The completion of a project management related course will be advantageous
- At least 5 years sales and customer service experience or within a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to Tissue/ Paper manufacturing environment will be advantageous
- Own vehicle
- A clear criminal record
Skills and competency requirements
- Experience in managing a client database with face-to-face interaction
- Ability to critically analyse situations and have a keen interest in technical operations
- Good planning and time management skills is essential
- Must have sound communication and inter-personal skills
- Problem solving and well-developed decision-making abilities is essential
- Excellent computer knowledge (All MS Office Packages)
- The ability to multitask and to work independently under pressure
- Knowledge of sales or activity reports
- Must have a track record of high-performance standards and have a culture of discipline instilled
- Must be able to work flexible hours from time to time in order to meet client expectations
- New Business development negotiating with clients for trading terms
- Meeting all clients needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
- Maintain sound relations with all clients by developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Keeping abreast with the market trends
- Track all work through the production process to ensure client deadlines are met
- Provide account management services to clients, including planning and organising of production schedules.
- Recommendation of system and process improvement as and when required
- Adherence to all guidelines and standards relating the key accounts management function
