**LECTURER IN ECONOMICS EDUCATION**

In pursuit of solutions for Africa, the University of Limpopo wishes to invite

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters in Economics / Masters in Economics Education;
- Teacher qualification (e.g. PGCE, HED, or equivalent), or
- Proof of enrolment towards teacher qualification.
- Driver's license

**Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for:

- The facilitation of learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;.
- Supervision of research projects of students at postgraduate levels;
- Publication of research articles in accredited journals;
- Participation in academic administration;
- Development and coordination of modules in the programmes of the

Department;
- Participation in Community Engagement programmes and third stream

income of the Department;
- Participation in material development;
- Contribution towards the Department's transformational and strategic goals.

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL**
**ATTRIBUTES)**:

- Knowledge and competency in teaching of Economics Education.**
- Knowledge of the South African education system;
- Ability to supervise students at postgraduate level;
