Product Sales Manager

**Main Responsibilities**
- Building relationships with clients and encouraging long-term buyers.
- Finding new customers and creating a sales relationship with potential buyers.
- Discussing the product portfolio with customers and explaining technical
concepts simply and keeping them informed about new technological products and innovations.
- Keeping abreast of product innovation and updates and passing on internally to colleagues and clients.
- Maintaining relationship with OEM which would amongst others include
- Stock forecasting,
- RMA process implementation,
- Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
Must be able to
- Negotiate prices with customers.
- Explain specialised technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
- Write reports and proposals for vendors or clients related to technical
products.
- Track opportunities and sales and sharing sales information with team
members and management.
- Research the current market trends and learning about new technology
products
- Compile proposals and reports.
- Work with the commercial team to see which existing customers can be
addressed.
- Update records of customer communications and contact information.
- Communicating various installation details to clients proactively, such as:
timing and installations considerations of for clients taking their environment
and situation into account, etc.
- Identify areas that would lead to a better purchasing and final delivery
experience of the customer.
- Identify areas that would lead to better post sales management of product and services such as inclusion of maintenance services attached to initial sale of the
product.
- Knowledge of all aspects of all products within the portfolio with a focus of
being an expert in the field.
- A mix of technical, persuasive and follow-up skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- The ability to map out a product growth strategy aligned to clear financial
growth targets.
- Being able to ultimately close deals.
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
