Required Qualifications and Experience (non-negotiable)
**NQF 7 Qualification in Human Resources/Finance or related field with minimum of eight years’ experience in payroll in which three years should be at Specialist Level**
**RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO,**
2.1 Day to day activities:
- Receive inputs from the Human Resource unit to effect on payroll.
- Respond to enquiries related to the payroll function.
2.2 Payrun
- Prepare and submit to Finance the payrun for the pay day of the 15th and 20th, or the closest Friday to each respective date at least 03 working days before the pay date
- Prepare supporting documents to be reviewed by Finance
- Prepare the file for the bank.
2.3 Month-end
- Prepare the payment files for 3rd party payments (including reconciliations),
- Prepare the files to be uploaded in the financial management system (The Agency uses SAGE Evolution as its financial management system), and
- Close the payrun and perform backup procedures. System backups must be also be done before the start of the payrun
2.4 Ad-hoc
- Submit statutory requirements for Compensation Commission, o Perform the tax reconciliations, and o Prepare IRP5 certificates.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: R44,320.00 per month
