As a Hospital KAM, you will develop and implement the sales strategies for the **State and Private** Hospitals segments in alignment with ANI strategic objectives (NS / MARGIN & GTN), and to manage the stakeholder relationships on an ongoing basis.

**What you will do**:

- Responsible for achieving strategic objectives for the State Hospital and Private Hospital Group channels i.e., NTS / Profit Targets.
- Efficient management of customer negotiations in relation to Contracts and Tenders. Implementation and ongoing management of the Tender/Formulary/Ranking per Hospital segment
- Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:

- Creating and executing sales plans to achieve revenue targets, focusing on acquiring and retaining key accounts within the private and state hospital sectors.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships:

- Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, purchasing managers, and healthcare professionals, to understand their needs and promote the company’s products or services.
- Product Promotion and Education:
- Market Analysis and Research:

- Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and trends within the private and public hospital sectors, staying updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:

- Negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with hospital clients, ensuring favorable terms while maximizing profitability and long-term partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to address customer needs, resolve issues, and capitalize on market opportunities effectively.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE**:
**Education**:
Tertiary qualification in Dietetics is preferred, however any Health Sciences qualification will be considered

Additional, Marketing qualification/IMM/Commercial qualification is an advantage.

**Expertise and Competencies**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales, Trade Marketing/Key Accounts Management on a national level
- Understanding of the South African State and Private Hospitals landscape.
- Experience in a Hospital, Pharma or OTC environments
- Analytical - ability to analyze data and gain actionable insights.
- High commercial acumen.
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Negotiation Skills.
- Time Management Skills
