This position forms part of the warehouse and requires an individual who understands the receiving and stock management function

**Management of the Inbound deliveries/ processes. Inbound deliveries planning and optimal arrival management. Maximising operational effectiveness and organisational return on investment within the area of responsibility. Managing the machinery, equipment and materials required for effective Inbound function execution.**
- Manage planning function for the area of responsibility.
- Manage the Inbound portion of the facility.
- Capacitate and control the area of responsibility in terms of all resources required.
- Manage resources in a manner which ensures efficiency and cost-conscious stock handling
- Ensure stock is moved from receiving to sin stock as per agreed Service Levels.
- Optimise offloading and stock recording following the least steps possible.
- Manage weekly throughput rates and address out of line situations.
- Manage operational performance measures, ensure that staff take ownership of their departments’ performance and meet KPI targets.
- Ensure best practice standards are met for all elements of the Inbound function within the branch.
- Ensure that damages and stock losses are minimised within the area of responsibility.
- Coordinating work effectively with Inventory Supervising and Outbound functions to ensure the maximum stock availability and most effective customer experience.
- Enabling and managing the cross-docking function when required.
- No compliance breaches are identified on the level of area of the responsibility.
- No breaches of legislation are identified on the level of area of the responsibility.
- Ensure the branch complies with the OHASA policies and procedures.
- Ensure all health and safety measures are implemented as per Grandmark standard.
- Drive a culture of safety within their business area.
- Ensure regular inspection and reporting of identified risk elements.
- Report incidents through the correct channels in the required manner.

**Management of inventory within the area of responsibility. Managing the stock on all stages from truck to put away.**
- Ensure inventory accuracy and accurate recording of received stock records.
- Put away of stock is to follow the design of the warehouse be as per best practise for the stock held.
- Manage availability of labels, packaging, and pallets in order to efficiently off-load and store receipted stock.
- Ensure that the stock within the area of responsibility is managed and maintained in such a way that reduces shrinkage and stock loss.
- Manage warehouse stock losses within the agreed KPI for the area of responsibility.
- Optimise warehouse layout within the area of responsibility based on throughput to ensure efficiency and warehouse optimisation.
- Ensure Inventory discrepancies and adjustments are investigated and corrected.
- Implement effective stock loss practices to ensure that regular stock audits occur (planned and as-required audits)
- Manage and report damages and implement corrective plans.

**Staff management within the area of responsibility.**
- Monitor productivity measures within the offloading and put away job functions according to agreed measures.
- Manage staff performance by coaching and counselling and by stating clear responsibilities and anticipated outputs against which they will be measured.
- Encourage an environment of continuous improvement and learning.
- Lead and manage the business area the Grandmark spirit values.

**Management of the WMS system within the area of responsibility.**
- Ensure the effective Management of the WMS system within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure all processes are documented in area of accountability.
- Ensure that WMS data is maintained accurately and that the system balances daily.
- Ensure weekly system sync between ADOR and SYSPRO.
- Identifies critical operational pain points regarding system gaps.
- Identify and implement new technologies in warehouse to help track and identify key issues (e.g., root causes of scrap, process bottlenecks, stock validation)

Responsible for analysis of data produced in the branch to identify opportunities for improvement within the area of responsibility

Pay: R1,00 per month
