**The kind of work you will be doing**:
- Provide administrative support to the People Services team in the day-to-day HR-related activities of the business
- Creating, maintaining and updating electronic employee files, employee details, confirmation of employment, UIF documents etc.
- Payroll support by preparing and collecting documents/ information relating to payroll input. Loading of new employees and updating changes for existing employees into the PEOPLE system and executing all relevant reporting and submissions
- Monthly preparation of
- Month-end payroll and other reports
- EMP201 returns
- UIF Declarations
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding administration of new joiners and leavers
- Administration of monthly staff benefit programs (Group Life, Short Term Insurance, Medical Aid, Retirement Annuities)
- Process and reconcile monthly billings from vendors for staff benefits
- Assist employees with claims-related problems
- Arrange meetings with brokers where required
- Assist with updating and maintaining policies on the company portal
- Consistent & effective communication of policy changes/ updates to all staff
- PCI Vetting compliance - arrange employee vetting, and liaise with relevant stakeholders for various checks
- Prepare & provide teams with relevant ad hoc reports upon request
- Handle all other day to day HR-related queries from staff
- Resolve administrative queries in the simplest and friendliest manner possible

**Job requirements**
**The kind of qualifications, experience and skills we think would be required for you to be successful in this role**:
- A matric pass or equivalent is essential
- 1-year payroll related experience is essential
- At least 2 years of HR Administration experience is required
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA) is essential
- Experience in MS Office packages is required
- Experience in Sage People 300 and ESS will be advantageous
- A relevant HR certificate or diploma will be advantageous
**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R23,000.00 per month
