Learning and Development Trainer

LOOKING FOR TRAINERS AROUND SOUTH AFRICA
To identify, create, deliver, and facilitate training and capacity building interventions and manage the necessary activities and resources leading to an improvement in the skills and competencies of employees as required to meet the business strategy, inherent job requirements, service level standards as well as future requirements with regards career pathing and technological innovation.
**Duties**:
Identify Learning & Development needs and plan
- Identification of training needs, including the proposal of learning solutions (training plan) to meet the business strategy, technological requirements, service level standards and inherent job requirements
- Maintain knowledge of changes, improvements and innovations concerning training
- Generate and update Skills Matrices
- Compile operational training schedule or plan
- Mentoring, Coaching and training
- Recruitment of new SMMEs/Groups/communities
- Facilitate technical workshops and trainings to SMMEs/Groups/communities
- Develop new approaches and techniques for making improvements in training programs
- Maintain and update records of training material
- Manage and facilitators and their schedules and course content
- Working with the existing team to prepare and submit monthly and quarterly report to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide relevant technical advisory services and information to SMMEs
- Delivery of course content
- Ability to delivery course content at a high level
- Design and build training aids to assist with the delivery of training
- Coordinate and present training sessions nationally with proper assessments

**REQUIREMENTS**:
ABILITY TO WORK EXTRA-ORDINARY HOURS, LIKE STARTING EARLY OR TRAINING IN THE EVENINGS OR OVER WEEKENDS SO AS TO ENSURE OPERATIONAL HOURS ARE NOT IMPACTED
- Facilitate leaning using a variety of given Methodologies (Unit Standard 117871)
- Conduct Outcomes - Based assessment (Unit Standard 115753)
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:
- Certified Moderator and Assessor
- Fully au fait with MS Office suite, especially advanced PowerPoint functionalities
- Competent to deal with all training matters in a professional and appropriate manner
- Proven presentation and training skills
- Good planning and organising skills
- Self-driven
- Ability to work in highly pressurized area
- Very detail orientated
- Self-motivated
- Disciplined to create order in daily work
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
- Grade 12
- Relevant post matric qualification in related field
- Ability to travel within South Africa

PAY IS BASED ON PERFORMANCE
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

- High School (matric) (preferred)
