**PART-TIME RETAIL ASSISTANT & ADMIN SUPPORT**

**PERSONAL SKILL REQUIRED FOR JOB**:

- Previous Retail and Admin experience
- A friendly and engaging personality
- A great team player
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel
- Very good administrative and organisational skills
- Methodical and thorough approach to work
- Strong communication skills in English and one other South African language
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and public holidays
- Non smoker
- Driving Licence preferable

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate POS
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude
- Provide detailed information about our products
- Maintain an organized and appealing store
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management
- Assist office manager with orders and admin
- Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment
- Sorting, packing and distributing incoming stock from suppliers
- Prepare parcels for dispatch
- Answer telephone
- Assist with WhatsApp orders

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Grade 12/Matric-Essential
- Previous retail and admin experience preferable
- Computer Literacy essential (Excel, Word)

**WORKING HOURS**

Minimum 3 days per week 8.30am - 5pm incl. Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm

This job could turn into a full-time position.

**SALARY** depending on experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
