Head of Sales

We're looking for a driven, sales and client inspired, team-focused Head of Sales & Client Experience Delivery, who is excited to own the delivery of exceptional client experience throughout the client journey. This will be delivered through the sales execs and digital nurturing of our client base, bringing new ideas on how to innovate on digital self-service.
This is first and foremost a sales role, with a strong client experience lens. This is a new Senior Management role combining the new business and client retentions sales divisions. The role is highly target driven, devolved targets per Sales Exec and per Channel. Metrics include revenue, conversion ratios, value funded, number of clients funded and pricing.
- This person will work hard to convert leads brought in by Acquisitions, deliver our value proposition to our clients, retain and on-sell funding to our client base and thereby deliver on sales and revenue targets.
- Our client value proposition is built on providing quick and accessible funding to small businesses.
- We are strong on personalised service and moving towards a hybrid (people and digital) sales and service model.
- Our clients should love our growing digital funding and service capability.
- As Head of Sales & Client Experience Delivery, you will own the execution of the client journey and therefore influence our communication roadmap and future new client and retention solutions.
- We want to pick up the pace in providing value over and above the funding product we provide and continue to strengthen the win-win, trusted relationship we have with our clients.
- Success will be achieved by inspiring, motivating and overseeing a team of around 15 Sales Execs across the two divisions, and implementing an optimal people-digital client experience.
- There is a management structure under you to help manage people on a daily operational basis - the new business operations sales manager, the client retention sales manager, and client operations. However direct engagement with the Sales Execs is expected as we are a tight team and Sales Execs need mentorship at different times and hands-one, present leadership.
- You will need to carefully balance your time between coaching and delivering through your management team and providing positive leadership for Sales Execs to deliver on the targets of today; while enhancing our people/process/tech to deliver a mind-blowing client experience and improving conversions to secure the targets of tomorrow.
- And you will have the skills to influence other departments such as Digital Marketing, IT, Finance, and all areas that impacts the ‘’production line’’ which delivers the client value proposition.
- To note the overall financial objective of this role is revenue; however, this is through delivering value to our clients and our people first.
Pay: R10 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month
