**The Opportunity**: We are seeking an Education Services Mentor with a spirited passion for innovative educational practices. This role is not just about teaching; it's about inspiring and equipping children with the skills and confidence they need to thrive. By integrating fun educational games, leadership development, and digital learning platforms like Khan Academy, you will be instrumental in shaping our students' futures.

**Your Impact**
- Implement engaging educational games that make learning fun and effective, enhancing literacy and numeracy skills among children from grades R to 12.
- Develop and execute leadership programs for students, aiming to cultivate future community leaders from within our afterschool cohorts.
- Foster strong partnerships with local schools to align our programs with the students' academic needs, ensuring a seamless educational experience.
- Lead our afterschool initiatives, leveraging computer-based learning tools like Khan Academy to provide tailored educational support.
- Champion innovative strategies to incorporate technology in learning, with a special focus on using computers to enhance educational outcomes.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A qualification in Social Work with a focus on Education, Child Protection & Safeguarding, Social Science, or a qualification in Education or Child and Youth Care Work.
- Experience in afterschool program management, particularly in settings that prioritize literacy, numeracy, and computer-assisted learning.
- Proficiency in educational software, especially Khan Academy, and the ability to integrate digital learning tools into our curriculum.
- A proven track record in child and youth care work, with an emphasis on educational support, mentorship, and leadership development.
- Exceptional community development skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in support of educational initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft365 and Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyse data.
- Research experience with capturing quantitative and qualitative data, validation and quality assurance will be an advantage.
