HR Coordinator

**Minimum qualifications**:
National Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial/Organisational Psychology.
**Key Performance Areas**
**HR Legislation**:
- Comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Act, Skills Development Act, MIBCO Main Agreement etc.)
**Employment Equity**:
- Co-ordinate EE and Training Committee meetings.
- Responsible for EE Administration, plant EE files & EE Meeting minutes
- Responsible for the availability of up to date EE files and documentation for the DoEL inspections.
**Recruitment and Selection**:
- Assisting with completion of RJFs and follow up on the approvals of RJFs
- Tracking of the recruitment process from beginning to end and provide updates to HR Specialist and line management
- Liaise with the recruitment agencies when the vacancies are placed externally, ensure the recruitment process is tracked and completed from beginning to end
- Required to attend and form part of interviews when the HR Specialist is not available for all positions below that of a GG10
- Compile, obtain approval from line management and advertise internal vacancies
- Responsible for the co-ordination and administration of the recruitments process i.e. interview guides, setting up interviews, diarising interview dates and times etc.
- Request from payroll SPN/WPNs as required
- Ensure that the recruitment and take on process for Internships and apprenticeships are in line with the MERSETA deadlines, and that documentation required is adhered to and supplied accordingly
**Industrial Relations**:
- Responsible for the co-ordination of disciplinary proceedings, and required to take minutes as and when required
- Assist the HR Specialist with the HR Report on all disciplinary matters
- Assist the line management with disciplinary actions as and when required, in consultation with the HR Specialist
- Attend the DRC and CCMA with HR Specialist, as and when required, represent the employer in Conciliations, in consultation with the HR Specialist
**Performance Management**:
- Administer performance management records.
- Attend counselling & disciplinary sessions on request in the capacity of advisor, under guidance from the HR Specialist
- Required to take minutes in the sessions
**_ _**Probationary Periods**:
- Diarise and keep track of probationary meetings for new recruits.
- Facilitate probationary meetings
**Continuous Improvement**
- Keep abreast with the latest trends and developments in the Human Resources field
- Keep up to date with legislation and the Main Agreement
**Reporting & Administration**
- Assist in compiling HR monthly reports
- Representing HR in monthly shop stewards meetings when required
- Track and compile absenteeism reports
- HR Induction training & other ad hoc training, if required
- Meeting minutes, as required
- HR Administration starter packs, termination packs, communications, etc. as required
