**Role Purpose/Business Unit**:

**Your responsibilities will include**:
**Conduct advanced analytics and modeling relating to the following business themes within Credit and Risk**:

- Credit Vetting - Monitor and analyse Scorecards, Policy Rules, and performance data for integrity concerns and opportunities.
- Account Management - Manage the monthly account management processes by engaging with external stakeholders (vendors and credit bureaus), and ensure the overall integrity of the data and processes.
- Working Capital Initiative - Run the monthly collections process for payover to the respective banks. Assist with any ad hoc analysis/reporting required on this initiative and ensure the overall integrity of the data. Engage with external stakeholders (banks) on an ongoing basis.
- Bad-Debt Forecasting - generate periodic bad-debt forecasts based on the input from Finance.
- Financial Reporting - Support Financial Operations on an ongoing basis with modeling related to IFRS 9 and IFRS 15.

**Generate and maintain periodic reports on**:

- Credit limits
- Working Capital Initiatives.
- Conduct proactive analysis to mitigate credit risk (i.e. segment deep dives).
- Recommend credit policy changes based on the insight obtained through advanced analytics. (across the credit life cycle).
- Summarizing findings, developing recommendations, and presenting analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format.
- Degree/Diploma relating to Programming, Data Management and/or Statistics

**and/or**
- 3-5 year's experience in quantitative modeling and analytics.

**and/or**
- 5-10 years’ experience in general credit roles.
- Hands-on experience across the full value chain of Credit in general (i.e. Vetting, Collections, Account Management, Legal Collections, etc.)

**Core competencies (functional), knowledge and experience**:

- Working with and querying Big Data leveraging cloud-based solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of Credit systems in general.
- Effective Communication and Report writing.
- Mentoring Junior Staff Members.
