Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for Identifying and prospecting potential customers, including contractors, builders, developers, and government agencies, to promote and sell concrete products.

**Key responsibilities**:

- New business development
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the company's concrete products
- Providing accurate product information, pricing, and delivery schedules to customers, and negotiating sales contracts and terms
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as production, logistics, and customer service, to coordinate order fulfilment and resolve customer inquiries or issues
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and product development
- Developing sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share in assigned territories or market segments
- Attending trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company's brand and expand its customer base
- Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and support decision-making by management
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and ethical standards, in all sales activities

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 3years experience in sales in the construction industry or building materials sector
- Knowledge of concrete products, construction methods, and building codes/regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Computer Skills (MS Excel)
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
