Stakeholder Relations Manager

An NPO with a focus on addressing a wider spectrum of critical health challenges which include Infectious Diseases, Mental Health, Gender disparities, and building resilient healthcare systems in the face of pandemics and climate change is in search of a Stakeholder Relations Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Lead a team of Stakeholder Relations Professionals, ensuring their growth through mentorship, guidance, and consistent performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and thriving team environment where teamwork and knowledge sharing are at the forefront.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for stakeholder relations, ensuring alignment with our broader organisational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Senior leadership to outline and implement long-term stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring seamless integration within our organisational system.
- Take charge of managing relationships with key stakeholders, making sure our communication and engagement strategies are consistent and fruitful.
- Strengthen collaboration and synchronisation between stakeholder relations and other departments, including communications, finance, and Human Resource.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with crucial stakeholders, including the Provincial AIDS Council, the Private Sector, community based organisations and various government entities, pushing for support in our innovative health approaches and community interventions.
- Constantly identify opportunities to create strategic partnerships and share resources, magnifying the impact of our work.
- Advocate for the integration of cutting-edge strategies and technologies in HIV and TB control. Work closely with research and health professionals to champion the advantages of these novel methods.
- Ensure seamless integration of innovative health interventions within our community-led strategies by collaborating with internal teams.
- Work alongside stakeholders from various sectors, such as health, social services, education, and local governance, ensuring a holistic, multi-sectoral approach to HIV and TB control.
- Spearhead cross-sectoral dialogues and initiatives, aiming for a united front in HIV and TB prevention, treatment, and support.
- Design and roll-out mechanisms that enable community-led monitoring of health interventions. This will empower local members to actively track progress and pinpoint challenges.
- Formulate and deliver training programs, coupled with comprehensive materials, to ensure community members are well-prepared for effective monitoring and evaluation.
- Champion the significant role local communities play in the HIV and TB battle - from ideation and implementation to monitoring. Advocate for the vital integration of these community-led efforts.
- Craft compelling communication materials and campaigns, highlighting the transformative impact and advantages of community-driven interventions.
- Determine and communicate clear performance goals for the stakeholder relations team, regularly evaluating their progress and offering meaningful feedback.
- Proactively identify opportunities for team members to undergo training, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring continuous growth.
- Ensure the Organization's vision, mission and values are reflected in all job outcomes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Community Development (or similar)
- Minimum of 4-5 years working in Community health, with a solid understanding of research and health programs.
- Demonstrable knowledge of working with governmental agencies, particularly in the health sector.
- Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Experience working with diverse communities and understanding the nuances of different cultural contexts.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key community leaders, NGOs and other relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and resolving conflicts among stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets related to community projects or stakeholder engagement activities.
- Fluency in Local Languages.
**Job Type**: Temporary
**Salary**: R1.00 - R2.00 per year
