**Manager: Insights and Customer Journey Development**

Aon South Africa is recruiting a Manager: Insignts and Customer Journey Development in our Marketing team based in Sandton. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Sandton office.

The role of the Manager: Insights and Customer Journey Development is to engage in market research, develop and implement systems and processes in order to communicate with leads and customers.

**What the day will look like**

Develop and implement customer journeys and campaigns to support new business, upsell and cross sell initiatives.

Increase sales by nurturing leads and proving customer loyalty.

Provide input and work closely with Executive Management to develop local market planning, research and development that will help drive the strategic, operational and creative marketing strategies within Aon South Africa.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research, analyze market trends and study competitors to develop effective business development strategies.

Manage data with Data & Analytics team - ensuring Aon is recording, tracking and using relevant data to enable prospect and customer segmentation to understand value and target messages appropriately.

Ensuring that data is used to review strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Develop and implement systems and processes for communicating with leads and customers leveraging existing Aon data platforms, third party platforms and database purchases.

Developing and implementing customer journeys to support new business, upsell and cross sell initiatives.

Work with marketing to develop campaigns using marketing automation via digital channels for leads, customers and users such as:

- targeted messages to help them through the buying journey,
- regular newsletters to keep the Aon brand top-of-mind.

Increase sales by nurturing leads and improving customer loyalty to influence growth.

Post campaign analysis to understand success of campaigns and gain findings for future campaigns.

Report on post campaign performance.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**

**Qualifications**
- Be in possession of Grade 12 (matric).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is highly recommended.
- A certificate in Project Management will be an added advantage.

**Knowledge**
- Project management know-how.
- Computer literacy with advanced experience in MS Word and Excel.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in and with teams.
- Well-developed leadership and management skills.

**Experience**
- Have 5 - 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be an added advantage.
- Experience in developing strategies, executing strategic and local market planning.
- Experience in campaign and customer journey management
- Experience in project management will be an added advantage.
