Our Research, Insights and Analytics team is looking for a passionate researcher to assist us in deploying some of our key brand and sponsorship measures, which will ultimately inform our brand and client engagement strategies. You will suit this role if you are passionate about marketing, brands, and research in general, manage your time well, have strong attention-to-detail, are passionate, confident and able to grasp new concepts quickly Support and contribute to the overall advancement of strategic Brand, Marketing and Client insights, by providing value added business insights, recommendations and strategic input derived from in-depth data analysis, as well as conducting and analysing high quality, appropriate and cost-efficient marketing research.**experience and qualifications**:

- Relevant Degree with majors in Research, Statistics or similar
- 5-7 years’ experience in marketing research, insights and analytics
- Preferably a mix of agency side and client-side experience
- Proven track record in designing and executing market research studies, as well as translating data output to strategic business insights
- Validated quantitative and qualitative analysis experience
- Financial Services, FMCG, or telecoms exposure beneficial
- Technical Pre-requisite
- Strong experience leading market research studies end-to-end.
- Experience dealing with large and complex data sets, converting them to consumable and insightful reports and business recommendations
- Be an excel guru, comfortable with pivots etc. as a lot of hands-on data analysis will be required in the role
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS etc.
- Strong experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlikview or Tableau
- Experience of statistical modelling such as segmentation, conjoint etc. is advantageous**additional requirements**:
**responsibilities**:

- Lead market research studies end-to-end. This includes:

- Research briefs, research instrument design (DG’s, questionnaires etc.)
- Field/deployment (directly using online tools)
- Quantiative and qualitative analysis (including in-depth thematic coding analysis to tell a holistic story)
- When external agencies are used, owning and leading the full process of briefing, instrument design, guide and shape analysis plan, dry runs, directly present final exco insightful reports etc.
- Stay abreast of market research trends, industry reports, innovations in tools and techniques etc., across both quantitative and qualitative disciplines
- Through consultation with business stakeholders, scope and launch a real-time client satisfaction tracker
- Own, evolve and lead the annual client satisfaction tracker, reporting and insightful exco presentations
- Ensure actions from these trackers are identifies and work with business to implement
- Fulfil the Centre of Excellence mandate by consulting and advising Broader African markets on market research initiatives and insights
- Drive the consolidation of trends and insights across key market research insights pieces of work, such as brand health, U& A, client satisfaction etc
- Agility - Flexible approach and able to deal with change and develop new ways of working to drive continuous improvement
- Senior managers and stakeholders across the RMB businesses
- Relevant stakeholders and collaborators across the FirstRand Group
- Synthesizes data from multiple sources to address complex business questions
- Ensuring data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations that will improve decision making and help drive business performance
- The ability to demonstrate strong logic and to explain complex analysis in an easy to understand way - telling a story rather than providing a data dump
- Data extraction, manipulation and analysis of customer and other data using analytical and data mining tools, to identify trends and draw insight
- Present fit-for-purpose, actionable results, and recommendations to various audiences.
- Brand performance evaluation and scorecard development, presenting back to the team with recommendations to ensure we maintain and build our brand and capabilities.
