Our client, a multinational packaging company seeks to employ a skilled, qualified and experienced Quality Manager who will aid in providing each necessary packaging environments with excellent quality production and takes will lead management of the Quality Department.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**

- You will have exceptional attention to detail, be analytical, communicate effectively and be results driven
- You must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Production, Quality, or Engineering and similar, coupled with at least 7+ years in Quality Management and Production processes within a packaging or print environment
- You must have advanced knowledge in quality systems such as ISO, have advanced knowledge and experience in quality control and assurance procedures, and have experience in flexographic printing processes
- You will be managing the Quality team as well as the Laboratory, and as such, you understand and implement quality strategy to ensure that all products adhere to agreed standards
- You will manage the integral internal and external non-conformances in a timely manner as well as implementing inspections, tests, and evaluations of products and equipment, coupled with approving finished products - you will also be tracking products through the line to guarantee correctness
- You will assist production lines with unforeseen quality challenges and provide guidance, as well as preparing reports and working according to aforementioned guidelines
- You will be training and managing production staff in practices and quality assessments of goods
- You must be able to work and manage under pressure and work with limited supervision, you must have excellent problem-solving and root cause skills to assist in streamlining of processes, and you must have a decisive insight to engage with staff
- Excellent customer service is a non-negotiable, as you will not only be partnering with stakeholders to define proactive initiatives, but also provide input toward business development and support customer negotiations as a Lead Solution Manager
- You will have contactable references, a clear criminal and credit record and it is to be noted that all qualifications and career history will be verified.
